I’ve got copyedits to do on HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT. I did the first 100 pages last night–that means I have about 332 to go!

Hope you have a great day!

THE VAMPIRE’S KISS is a best-seller!

Posted in Romance on October 23rd, 2007 by Cynthia Eden

On Amazon.com, anyway. 🙂

The very first book that I ever published, The Vampire’s Kiss, continues to work its little heart out over at Amazon. I was over at Amazon today to see if the cover for Secrets, Volume 21: Primal Heat was up, and I decided to check up on my vamp book.

Published in March of 2005, The Vampire’s Kiss had the following rank (at 1:57 p.m.–because I know those rankings change pretty much every hour!):

Amazon.com Sales Rank: #13,011 in Books (See Bestsellers in Books)

#51 in Books > Romance > Gothic
#53 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Horror > Vampires

Cool. I thought that was pretty neat.

Thank you to everyone who has read this book–and thanks for all of the great emails and letters I have received. I appreciate all of the support that the fans of this tale have given to me! Thanks for making The Vampire’s Kiss an Amazon.com best-seller!

First Review of A RED HOT NEW YEAR!!!

Posted in Romance on October 20th, 2007 by Cynthia Eden

Cherokee of Coffee Time Romance sent me an advanced review of A RED HOT NEW YEAR.   This is what she had to say about the anthology:  “A Red Hot New Year lives up to its name and more. The refreshing characters are quite interesting in their own way and leave an impression with the reader. These fine authors have penned four stimulating stories that sizzle hotter than fireworks on the fourth of July. Each read weaves some simmering seduction between the pages that is quite entertaining. Bold, sassy, and explosive, these stories will have you begging for more. “

And, regarding my novella, New Year’s Bites, Cherokee wrote:  “I found this story thrilling. I love the interaction of the characters. Anna and Jon are terrific together and leave a lasting impression with the reader. Cynthia Eden creates an intriguing read full of hot, steamy passion that brings out more than the animal. Anna and Jon inflame the pages while staying one step ahead of the obstacles that continue to get in their way. This story takes a bite and does not let go.”

Yay! Thanks so much, Cherokee!

When the full review is posted at Coffee Time Romance, I’ll post a link.
