Thank you!! (And…psst…I have an Angel of Darkness ARC or 2 to giveaway…) Back to Blog

Update:  Thank you for all the wonderful comments!  Seems like there sure is a lot to celebrate out there.  🙂  I randomly picked the two winners from all the comments, and those winners are:  Patti Silva and Tina W. Congrats, ladies!  And if you didn’t win, don’t worry–I’ll have more giveaways soon!

Thank you for coming to my NEVER CRY WOLF release party. I sure appreciate you taking the time out of yoru day to come by for the celebration. Thanks for all the great comments–I had a blast reading through them today.  (And thanks to the authors who donated so many books!)

This is the last post for the day.  That makes me sad. I had such a good time! But…the party must end (for now, anyway!).  As a reminder, all of the contests/giveaways will be open until noon tomorrow. So please read back through the posts and leave comments if you want to win some of the prizes. Tomorrow, I will also go in and randomly pick some commenters to win gift certificates (these prizes weren’t listed–they’re just bonus for commenters). I do enjoy some gift certificate fun.

But, for now…I have one last prize that I’d like to offer tonight. It’s an IOU prize…because, you see, I don’t have this prize yet. I should have it in a few weeks, though.  It’s an Advanced Reader’s Copy of my December release, ANGEL OF DARKNESS.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the blurb for ANGEL OF DARKNESS:

As an angel of death, Keenan’s job is to collect the souls on his list. He’s carried out his duty for two thousand years and never faltered once. Until he meets Nicole St. James.  When the moment of death comes, Keenan hesitates, and instead of taking Nicole, Keenan touches the vampire who’s attacking her.

Cast out of heaven for disobedience, Keenan plummets to earth. Six months later, he finally manages to track Nicole to a bar in Mexico. He’s stunned to discover that the woman he remembers has undergone a dramatic change—she’s become a vampire. And when
he realizes that she’s the target of all manner of enemies—other vampires, demons, even shifters—he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, even if all hell breaks loose…

Want to win an ARC?  I’m going to give 2 away (as IOUs–as soon as I receive the ARCs from my lovely editor, I will ship them right to you. You will read the book months before anyone else does.)  To win…just tell me one good thing that’s happening in your life. Today was a day of celebration–so celebrate with me.  What is making you happy?  All of the wonderful readers in my life are making me happy. 🙂

The contest will run until noon on 6/29/11. (Noon Central Time)  Have a great night!  And, again, thank you!!

I have a primary immune deficiency and for years we weren’t sure I’d ever be able to concieve a child and carry him to full term but fate was smiling and my baby boy was born in 1999. He was to be my only child, my miracle (as we tell him) and good or bad, he makes me happy every day!

    Congrats on your release!

  3. Hilleary Peterson says:

Last week when I was getting ready to leave for work. My little girl was sitting on my lap and I told her I was going Bye-bye. She looked at said “Mommy” and waved Bye-bye then gave me a kiss. Only the second time she said mommy. Not bad for a 1 year old

I’m been spening a lot of time with my family lately, which makes me very happy. So that’s definitely the one good thing that’s happening in my life 🙂

The best thing that happened in my life was my Father finding an kidney donor. Because of this he has been in my life for 30 years and is now one of the longest living people in Australia to have had a kidney transplant.

  6. What’s making me happy? Reading books with sigh-worthy heroes and being healthy and (relatively) financially stable enough to enjoy my reading habit.

Not a lot really happening in my life, trying to find a new job that will work with my back injuries and my doctor’s orders. I am also keeping my 10 year old nephew alot this summer due to my sister taking some night classes, and her not trusting the 16 and 17 year olds to take care of him. My family, pets, and reading make me happy.

  9. Cathy M says:

It’s actually been a wonderful year for my family. Both of my son’s have steady girlfriends that were officially made fiancee’s last month. They invited my hubby and I to dinner and surprised us with the news. (Since my boy’s are twins, it made total sense that they would make a joint announcement, lol).I already call these girl’s my daughter’s, and we are thrilled that the boy’s will make it official. No wedding dates yet, most probably some time next summer.

I’ve got three beautiful kids and a loving husband and after living away from our family and friends for the past 5 years, my husband was given the green light to try and transfer back to our home state. I’m excited and am crossing my fingers we will be able to make our way back home soon. I just got wonderful news from my middle son’s C.T. scan, after almost six years of being on pins and needles, we finally have answers and it was the answers we were praying for. Though it means surgery and a tough road ahead, it also means a clear happy road for the future. I feel like I am able to breathe easier. Things have been good 🙂

I missed the first few hours of the giveaway as I was sitting at my son’s bedside in hospital. He had a general anaesthetic in order to have some teeth removed (his autism doesn’t offer an alternative). So as far as that goes, I’m happy that my son came through his little operation and his smile may be a little gummsy today but he’s here and that’s the important thing. Seeing him open his eyes for me was the best feeling ever 🙂

    • Cynthia Eden says:

The best thing going on here right now is that my baby boy is turning 21 in 2 weeks. We didn’t think he would make his first year, he had his first open heart surgery at 10 days and his second at 6 months. We thank God everyday for his doctors that did everything they could to keep him healthy.
