Thank you!! (And…psst…I have an Angel of Darkness ARC or 2 to giveaway…) Back to Blog
Update: Thank you for all the wonderful comments! Seems like there sure is a lot to celebrate out there. 🙂 I randomly picked the two winners from all the comments, and those winners are: Patti Silva and Tina W. Congrats, ladies! And if you didn’t win, don’t worry–I’ll have more giveaways soon!
Thank you for coming to my NEVER CRY WOLF release party. I sure appreciate you taking the time out of yoru day to come by for the celebration. Thanks for all the great comments–I had a blast reading through them today. (And thanks to the authors who donated so many books!)
This is the last post for the day. That makes me sad. I had such a good time! But…the party must end (for now, anyway!). As a reminder, all of the contests/giveaways will be open until noon tomorrow. So please read back through the posts and leave comments if you want to win some of the prizes. Tomorrow, I will also go in and randomly pick some commenters to win gift certificates (these prizes weren’t listed–they’re just bonus for commenters). I do enjoy some gift certificate fun.
But, for now…I have one last prize that I’d like to offer tonight. It’s an IOU prize…because, you see, I don’t have this prize yet. I should have it in a few weeks, though. It’s an Advanced Reader’s Copy of my December release, ANGEL OF DARKNESS.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the blurb for ANGEL OF DARKNESS:
As an angel of death, Keenan’s job is to collect the souls on his list. He’s carried out his duty for two thousand years and never faltered once. Until he meets Nicole St. James. When the moment of death comes, Keenan hesitates, and instead of taking Nicole, Keenan touches the vampire who’s attacking her.
Cast out of heaven for disobedience, Keenan plummets to earth. Six months later, he finally manages to track Nicole to a bar in Mexico. He’s stunned to discover that the woman he remembers has undergone a dramatic change—she’s become a vampire. And when
he realizes that she’s the target of all manner of enemies—other vampires, demons, even shifters—he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, even if all hell breaks loose…

Want to win an ARC? I’m going to give 2 away (as IOUs–as soon as I receive the ARCs from my lovely editor, I will ship them right to you. You will read the book months before anyone else does.) To win…just tell me one good thing that’s happening in your life. Today was a day of celebration–so celebrate with me. What is making you happy? All of the wonderful readers in my life are making me happy. 🙂
The contest will run until noon on 6/29/11. (Noon Central Time) Have a great night! And, again, thank you!!

Last night my best girl and guy friends from high school came over for some delicious Italian night: we had spaghetti, yummy parmesan and spaghetti. Ate too much tiramisu and stayed up until 4 am! We talked so much and today even after only 3,5 hours sleep I feel great because of the fun night we had 😀

My husband and daughter supporting me through this time of taking care of my mother who is paralyzed from a stroke. She is only 64 but her spirit is still strong. Her body may have betrayed her,but her mind is as sharp as ever…lol
Oh, Michelle, I’m sending some good thoughts to you and your mother. My grandmother was paralyzed on one half of her body after her first stroke. A year later, she was out walking me. 🙂 Anything can happen!
My 29th anniversary is coming up and I’m married to the best husband ever!
Happy early anniversary!
I am happy that my oldest son (12 yrs old) is having a blast on his baseball team… and they are winning almost every game. It is so fun to watch them… and his confidence is awesome to see.
We just bought a great, well-taken-care-of used car from a family friend. Now I don’t have to take our unreliable old pick-up truck everywhere, and it will save us a bit in gas each week! 🙂
Thanks for the awesome party, Cynthia!
Excellent reasons to celebrate! And I hope your son’s team keeps winning!
There are many happy things happening in my life right now, but the one things that stands out is that my kids are happy.
They are going to summer camps and enjoying swimming in this beautiful weather. They are learning to cooperate with each other and with me more often than not (LOL) and it’s paying off. Overall, they should be in a happy place and I’m very glad they are there right now and, in turn, this is why I’m happy.
I think if our kids our happy, then we’re happy.
one good thing is happening for me right is that I’m healthy and happy right now:)
And that’s great! The best!
Something that makes me happy … my children are so creative and so enthusiastic about writing and story-telling.
That makes me happy to hear, too! 🙂
What is making me happy is I’m finally getting a hysterectomy and won’t be suffering in pain 2-3 wks. out of the month. And I’ll have lots of time to read during my recovery time. LOL!

As of right now, I’m really happy about the fact that I got to sleep in today. (And by sleep in, I mean, no one woke me up until about 20 minutes ago. Oh it was so nice.)
In September I will officially have a boy in Grade 4, a boy in KIndergarden (full day) and my last boy in preschool. This means momma gets to have a girls only trip to Vegas for her 35th birthday. That is the best thing to look forward to!
My kids are making me happy right now. My 5 year old just came up, out of the blue, and said “I love you, MaMa”. melts my heart every time!
ACK!! I nearly missed the coming out party!! And, actually, it’s *your* fault! I got your book and sat down to read it, only stopping to feed the kids. What a FANTASTIC book!! OMG… no spoilers here, but WOW, I wanted to read it again just as soon as I finished it. Can’t wait for Angel of Darkness! You are FANTASTIC!
That’s tough! Id probably have to say the new annual Lopez camping trip next month. This year I’m taking along my bff who is also a Lopez.
