DON’T TRUST A KILLER will be here on 9/18! I’m so excited about this book. It’s been a while since a wrote a full length romantic suspense without any paranormal elements. 😉 It’s fun to get back to my serial killers!

I thought I’d share a little behind-the-scenes info about this book. Some tidbits. And if you have any questions about this story, please just comment!

1. This book is pure romantic suspense. No super soldiers. No paranormal characters. Just some dark and dangerous times. (I love my Lazarus books, but this title is completely unrelated to that series!)

2. DON’T TRUST A KILLER is set in my FAVORITE city, New Orleans.

3. DON’T TRUST A KILLER is set in New Orleans…during **Halloween** season. Just had to do it! Since the book was releasing in late September, I wanted to go ahead and have it match up with the season. So I’ve included some scene setting that I picked up on my last Halloween-timed trip to New Orleans.

3. There is profiling. There is a twisted serial killer. There are murders.

4. There are secrets. Lots of them. The book does not end on any cliff-hanger ending, though, so all will be revealed.

5. The heroine is an FBI agent. I’ve gotten lots of requests for FBI agents. Happy to say that Bree is armed and ready to go!

6. The hero? He’s hot. He’s dangerous. And, yes, he may just be a killer. I wouldn’t trust him.

Let’s talk about Jett!!!! We are just days away from the 8/21 release of HOLD ON TIGHT. Jett’s book!

Jett appeared as a secondary character in LIE CLOSE TO ME. I received so many notes (tweets, emails) about him that I decided to give Jett his own story. And I hope you like it!

HOLD ON TIGHT came in at 77,000 words. The first section of the book focuses on when Jett meets Savannah. While Jett’s relationship with Savannah was discussed in LIE CLOSE TO ME, I wanted readers to have the chance to *see* them come together. So, part one of HOLD ON TIGHT shows their beginning.
