So I’ve started work on a new novella–yep, that means back to my minimum of 10 pages a day routine. My heroine is a witch and my hero, well, I think I’ll just hold that surprise for a while. 🙂
If the posts are a bit short for the next few weeks, I do apologize. But I WILL be posting and writing and having fun with these new characters.
If any writers out there have recently started new stories, I’d love to hear about them!

A few weeks ago, I went to my first local RWA chapter meeting. I met some great people and had a fun time. A reporter, Robert McClendon, was at the event–a very nice, professional guy. He wrote an article for us and the clipping appeared today. If you’ve got the time, check out the story and let me know what you think.

Today I’m blogging about “forgotten paranormals” over at The Bradford Bunch.

Are you a writer who needs some inspiration? Well, I’ve long been a believer that if you just look around, you’ll find tons of things that will inspire your creative juices.
Today, for example, I stumbled upon a gargoyle in a store–had to buy it. I tried walking away from the thing four–yes, FOUR–times, but ended up with the gargoyle at the register. Just looking at Gargy puts me in the mood to write some serious paranormal stories.
And here’s a great link that might put you in the mood to write. All of the photos on this site are old (some over 100 years, some in the later 1900s). When I saw the pictures, I instantly started thinking about ghosts. But, if you’re a lover of history, perhaps you will get an idea for a phenomenal historical tale.
After all, inspiration is where you find it.
