I’m super-psyched to be on your blog today.  Thank you so much for inviting me!

My latest release is about Angelle, a former fallen angel who has to save a certain number of souls in order to get back in to Heaven.  Scorned, an urban fantasy with romantic elements, is the first in a series, and she must save Jack, an arcane hunter, from another dimension.  Can she find him before time runs out, and she is sent back to Hell?

Angelle, God’s first Angel, fell from grace along with Satan. However, after thousands of years as Satan’s girlfriend, Angelle wants back into heaven and becomes human. Now she must atone for her sins and save as many souls as she damned while fighting vampires and demons. One more condition — she must remain celibate.

Jack, a vampire hunter, visits Angelle’s bar, and their attraction is instant. But after watching her walk away from a car accident, he’s convinced she’s a vampire and must die. When Angelle doesn’t burst into flames at sunrise, Jack joins her quest to save souls. The partnership is jeopardized when two of the Scorned Bride’s daughters enthrall him.

Angelle must save Jack from another dimension, but in doing so, she risks her salvation. Will Jack want to be saved by the time she finds him? And if they survive the Scorned Bride, can they survive each other?

Fall is here!!! I hope you all enjoy the cooler weather, the pumpkins, the scares, the fun! 😉 To kick off Fall, guest author Mina Khan is taking over my blog.  She’s got a great new release–and two lucky commenters will win digital copies of WILDFIRE!

Hi, my name is Mina Khan and I write about djinns (also called genies), dragons and anything else that tickles my fancy. I’m thrilled to be here at Cynthia’s and introduce you to the hero of my newest release WILDFIRE: A Paranormal Mystery with Cowboys and Dragons!

Here’s Jack Callaghan and he looks like a young Mark Harmon (according to my readers):

He’s a fifth generation Texan with ranching roots, who now runs an organic cotton farm in West Texas. He is also a volunteer firefighter. 😉 Here’s one of Jack’s favorite sayings: “It’s never the same river.”

As a treat, let me share a special Jack and Lynn (she’s the Japanese American dragon shifter heroine) moment. They are at a fire, and Lynn has just dragged out a couple from a burning house:

Damn, he was tired. He looked around and caught Lynn watching him. A tightness gripped Jack’s chest. Lynn. Emotions surged through him. His heart had almost stopped when he’d heard Jen screaming for help, seen Lynn and Amos lying so still on the ground, near Elsie wrapped up in bed covers. What the hell had she been thinking? Putting herself in danger like that was irresponsible. Amazing. Incredibly stupid. So very brave. A need to touch her, reassure himself she was okay, overwhelmed him. Damn, he should walk away. Instead he stalked toward her.

Danger. The dragon inside Lynn coiled and tensed. The fury shading Jack’s face made her want to fight or flee, but instead she stood her ground and waited. Good, she wouldn’t have to chase him down.
