MIDNIGHT’S MASTER – Mass Market Re-Release
Posted in Latest News, Romance on August 25th, 2015 by Cynthia Eden
I’m very excited to say that my bad boy demon hero, NIOL, is back in action! đ
Kensington Publishing is re-releasing MIDNIGHT’S MASTER today. This book was originally published as a trade paperback in 2009, but it is now out in the book wild as a mass market read.
Here’s the blurb for MIDNIGHT’S MASTER:
In a world of shadows, desire conquers allâŚ
In this sexy, gripping novel, Cynthia Eden draws readers deeper into the realm of the Othersâvampires, shifters, and sinfully attractive demons whose powers are matched only by their dark hungersâŚ
Tall, dark, and formidable, Niol Lapen is the last demon on earth most people would ask for a favor, yet the sexy little reporter who wanders into his club dares to do exactly that. Holly Storm already knows too much about his kind, and Niol has no wish to help her get in deeper over her head. But working alongside her may be the only way to stop a killer, even as it ignites a primal desire unlike anything heâs known.
Holly has seen firsthand what Niol is capable of, but that doesnât frighten her nearly as much as her bodyâs instinctive reaction to him, or the wild, fierce passion that would tempt her to follow him through hell itself. Something evil and relentless is prowling the streets of Atlanta. And as Hollyâs search leads her into danger that even Niol could never have predicted, sheâll uncover a secret that could rip her world apartâŚ.

And, in case you are in the mood for a sneak peak, here is a little excerpt:
âNo. Iâm not one of your demon wannabe sluts, Niol. I donât want to jump you in the dark so that I can have the thrill of saying I screwed a monster.â
Hit. The reporter obviously understood more than sheâd pretended about the human women who came to his bar.
âI donât want to playââ
âYes, Holly, you do.â Her heart still pounded too fast, her nipples were still pebbled, and her cheeks were flushedâall from hunger.
Need. For him.
âIâm not going to play.â Her hand dropped. âIâm going to do my jobâand find out what happened to Carl. With, or without your help.â
He stared at her. Such a shame. They would have been good together. The sex, well, it would have been pretty phenomenal. All that fire she hadâoh, yeah, phe-nomenal.
Pity. Niol shook his head. âSorry, love, itâs going to be âwithout.ââ And then he did the only thing he could do.
He turned around and walked away from her.  As he stalked toward the SUV, he felt her eyes on him. His hand lifted, reached for the door.
âNiol.â
Oh, but the womanâs voice could get to him. It was the soft huskiness when she said his name. Like a stroke right over his groin. But he didnât look at her. Niol opened the door.
âYou have to care.â Her voice sharpened. âYou play the bastard, but Carl, he was little more than a kid, and one of yours. You have to careââ
The laughter escaped then. He just couldnât help it. He stepped back and glanced over at her. âHave you forgotten so soon, sweet? The incubus who took you that nightâhe was one of my kind, tooâand I burned him,â the fire had been so beautiful, âfrom the inside out.â
She flinched.
His lips were twisted in a smile that he knew could chill. âI kill my kind.â The incubus hadnât been the first, and he wouldnât be the last. âI donât go out on a damn crusade to save themâŚor any humans who are dumb enough to get involved in a world they canât understand.â
âYouâre a cold bastard, Niol.â
So heâd been told.
