Thank you! (And another Kindle–or Gift Card, Your Choice!) Back to Blog

And the winner of the Kindle (or equivalent gift card) is…JessS. Congrats!

Thank you all so much for coming to my HOWL FOR IT party! I’ve had a great time reading all of the comments (and I’ll keep reading them as they come in–the giveaways will remain open until noon tomorrow).  I really appreciate you all taking time out of your day to come by and help me to celebrate the anthology’s release.

I’ve already received so many nice emails about the anthology–and I am so glad that readers are enjoying the stories! Thank you!!! I love writing paranormal tales, and being in an anthology with Shelly–well, that is always a pleasure because I am such a fan of her work.

For the last party prize, I’m going to offer a Winner’s Choice deal. You can either win this Kindle or I can send you an Amazon.com gift card that will the the equivalent of the Kindle (and you can use the gift card on anything you want).

I am currently spending the day inside my house–Isaac has sent showers (and fluctuating power!) my way.  So, let’s incorporate a bit of Isaac in this giveaway…tell me, how do you like to spend rainy days?  The winner will be selected randomly.

(And for all of those in Isaac’s path–stay safe!)

If you haven’t entered the other giveaways yet, please go back and check out all of the posts. All contests will remain open until noon, Central time, tomorrow.  Winners for all giveaways will be randomly selected (so sorry to sound like a broken record with that info!).

Thank you, again, for coming to my party.  Have a great night!

I love to take a nap on rainy days but if I can’t do that then most definitely curl up with a good book.

  2. Pam P says:

I’ll read a book or watch a movie, usually the books win out. Hope you weather that storm safely, Cynthia.

    Thank you Isaac huh?!

Ahh rainy days, if I have the house to myself, are the best. Perfect for curling up on the couch with a hot chocolate and a good book. Take a break and get my husky out for a walk, then back to reading!

I love rain…..You can cuddle with love ones, pets or get a big blanket and crawl in it. Imagine if you have a werewolf as a lover. Outside’s pouring, windy and cold. But you got a living furnace to snuggle up to…..ahhhh…..and a good book in hand….No..wait….who’s going to be reading when you got a man like that in your arms?!? WOW!!!

If there is power, watching a movie is a great way to spend a few hours. If not, there’s always reading (of course!) or, if you have a good enough light source, knitting 😉

Stay safe and as dry as possible, Ms Eden!

I love to curl up in a window seat and watch the rain while I read. We can get some fantastic storms here in the PNW and one of the best places to be is in a cabin/condo looking out over the Pacific Ocean.

Oh, and P.S. Is this anthology part of one of your series’ or is it a stand alone story?

  21. Michelle Bledsoe says:

I like to curl up on my couch, open the shades to watch the storm. I like to have my favorite drink and snacks along with a great book to read.

My DH has learnt, that in this situation, he can find me in my Rainy Day Nest.

This is me, on the couch with a blanket, surrounded by pillows, stack of books at one hand, tea/coffee cup in the other, kindle, laptop & iPhone within reach and with Pride & Prejudice (or similar) playing on the tv. One dog snuggled in lap, other dog sleeping on feet.

It’s taken me years to perfect. It’s a fine art.

  31. Well, if I lived anywhere near where Isaac is, I would be so worried. Even if it’s just the rainy outskirts because you never know how weather will change. To ease my worry, I would light some candles (in case the power went out), sit in my overstuffed big chair with throw pillows and blankets, a cup of hot chocolate in one hand and the latest book in the other. Heaven on Earth!

  32. Lisa says:

Love spend a rainy day on the internet surfer for a new book or a New Author to read. Or if that down I read a book and try to keep my animals calm as they hate thunder storm and kind of freaks out on them.
