Summer Reading Season!!! Back to Blog
Oh, yes, we’re in the heart of the season–that wonderful, awesome summer reading season.
Today, there are lots of new books hitting bookstore shelves like…BURN by Linda Howard. I love Linda Howard’s stories. I’ve been hooked on her work ever since I read Mackenzie’s Mountain years before. This book is going to be a reward read for me. As soon as I finish polishing up the rough draft of DEADLY LIES (half-way there!), I’ll reward myself by reading this book. This one and…
DRAGONS PREFER BLONDES by Candace Havens.
Because, yes, Candace has a new book out! And her stories always make me smile. Here’s the blurb for DRAGONS PREFER BLONDES:
Alex Caruthers is a sassy socialite who knows when it’s time to turn in her dancing shoes and kick some serious dragon booty. But when Ginjin—the dragon warrior who’s tried to kill her numerous times—chooses her as his mate, Alex finds herself in a situation that’s too hot to handle.
For help she turns to Jake, head of Caruthers security—and a total hottie in a suit—and asks him to pose as her boyfriend. Their relationship might be fake, but Alex can’t deny that one touch from Jake makes her burn hotter than any dragon could.

Of course, if you’re looking for more summer reading fun, you could always try Cynthia Eden’s MIDNIGHT’S MASTER. It’s my blog, so I get to plug my book. 🙂
But if you have another book you’d like to plug, a great book that folks should check out for the summer reading season, please post about it in the comments section. I’m always looking for more great books!

Y’all are making me drool with the book lists….. *G*
Cindy, I told my hairdresser about you today. She reads romances! I said she’d love your books. 🙂
I just finished Tails of Love–very cute and fun for summer reading! (I love stuff like that for the beach–not too intense, and easy to interrupt for whatever reason…)
I just finished Nauti Boy by Lora Leigh over the weekend, so I’m planning on reading the rest of the Nauti series. I also plan to curl up the Nalini Singh and read her series.
I just finished reading Linda Howard’s new book, BUrn, and as usual it was great. I have been reading for much longer than you way back to her first Harlequins when I got hooked on her heroines and her heroes of course and now have to wait till her next one Ice in a few months. I’m also waiting for your next one Belong to the night and just read the excerpt you’ve posted, sounds great
Hi Cynthia! I so love this summer reading! This year has been the most fun! I think because I’m sharing the joy with others about them. I love to chat about them! I got so much I’m looking forward to as well as catching up on some! I’m actually reading a earlier book I missed of Julie Garwood, THE WEDDING. This is a Medieval and follows THE BRIDE which I adored! So I’m reading that right now. One off the top of my head that I know I’m looking forward to is Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, Book 4) by Jeaniene Frost (out end of this month) Have you read this series yet Cynthia?
I got Burn, I got Burn!!
I am SO excited. It and Black Hills was waiting on my porch when I came home tonight!! yeah!!
I’m loving Amazon right now.
I forgot another book from an autobuy Author! So Into You by Sandra Hill!
