Holiday Wishes Back to Blog
Update: Thank you for sharing your holiday wishes with me. I read through all of the comments–okay, I’ll confess I did that twice–because you made me cry. There are just so many incredibly good people out in the world, and I was reminded of that fact as I read the comments. I know some of you are going through some very serious issues right now, and my prayers and good thoughts are going out to you. Whether you made a big wish or a small one, I want that wish to come true. I hope the holidays are good to you all–and that you all get exactly what you wished for.
I used the random generator to pick my winner (that’s how I’m picking all of the prizes unless the guest author has already picked), and the winner of the $50 Amazon.com gift card is Valerie M. Congratulations, Valerie!
This post is short and sweet–and it’s simply for wishes. What do you wish for this holiday season? Big or small, just share it. We should all take the time to make a wish, so please, make yours.
For the prize on this post? One random commenter will be selected to receive a $50 Amazon.com gift card—to help make her/his wish come true.
And I do hope that *all* of your holiday wishes come true. I hope the coming season brings magic to you!

Wishing everyone the very best this Holiday Season! 😀
Things I am hoping for: a Kindle, books, some fun games, a few things I could use, etc.
Thanks for a fun party… enjoyed the posts by the authors! Happy Happy Release Day!
My wish for this Christmas season is for Peace. Peace for me, my family and someday for the world. My Momma passed 2 weeks ago and my life has been one of crisis & panic for most of the year taking care of her needs. In the wake of her freedom from this world I am still struggling to keep the family’s ship afloat until Daddy also sees his “graduation”.
My wish for myself & everyone else is a holiday full of laugh & laughter, without any stress or drama!
Oh…and I’m really hoping my husband will buy me a bookcase! I’m going crazy looking through totes every time I’m in search of a book. 🙂
I expect that you mean tangible wishes and not things like health, happiness, and world peace! Well…I’d like to get a surprise. My hubby and I are very sensible. We kind of pick out what we want so the other can buy it. It doesn’t lead to many surprises. I’d like slippers and a new party dress (and maybe a great pair of shoes) to wear to my niece’s January wedding.
A little bit of this and a little bit of that! Gcs are always wonderful but I have every thing I need!!!
I am wishing for good health. Having some issues of late and would like to feel better.

I wish my brother’s deployment was over so I could see him at Christmas!
I wish for an unlimited amount of Amazon gift cards so that I can buy every book from every series by every author that I want to read.
Money is tight… and really all I wish for is a good Christmas for my three sons. They are 14, 11, 7. So yes it is important to me.
I am wishing that I will get many more Christmas’s out of my grandmother. I am really hoping this isn’t the last one.
I would love to have tablet this season.
My wish is for a wonderful holiday for my family. It has been a tough few years for us as we lost my brother 6 years ago on December 17th.
I got my wish of having my husband home for Christmas with us this year so he gets to experience some of the chaos. The only thing on my wish list for this year is Amazon and Barnes and Noble gift cards because I can always use those. And I want a rice cooker. I wouldn’t complain if there was something sparkly and in a jewelry box under the tree though 🙂
I’m wishing to be no longer unemployed. Hoping that I am blessed with a new full-time job that I will enjoy.
I want to wish everyone a healthy, happy Christmas.
On my wishlist is a tablet and books.
I wish my son and nephew were able to spend christmas with all of their family. They are both fireman and my son gave his day off so that another fireman with small children could be home on christmas morning to see his small kids open there santa. Im still a little selfish and want my son home for christams but Im proud that he thought of someone that needed to be home with their small children and gave his time up for them.
Besides the health of my family, I really want a new kitchen. That’s not going to happen but a girl can dream.
My wish is that my brother and sister will stop fighting each other and start getting along.
I’m wishing that folks will step back and consider leaving something off their gift list and instead give a small donation to help someone else. Just $10 can add up to so much. If you don’t even have $10…it’s okay, offer to wrap gifts at the senior center, do something for someone.
I wish for all of us to be a little kinder. I hear it’s addictive, in a really good way.
Hugs and happy holidays,
Nancy
I just want all those I love—friends, family, boyfriend—to be happy and healthy! I’m studying abroad so I won’t be able to see most of them this year 🙁 Biggest Christmas wish is to somehow spend the holidays with them. Maybe via a day-long Skype video call? My wish just may come true!
Well, not to be a downer, but I just want to get through the holidays happy. Mom passed away last month after being sick for 6 months. We will miss her this holiday. So I just want to keep up her traditions & I wish my family, friends & blog friends, a long, happy healthy life & Happy Holidays.—Rachel
Well, I’d like some new leather boots – I have some that are okay but I’d rather get a new pair
My Christmas wish is for my son! He has Asperger’s Syndrome, and things have never been real easy for him but he has always seemed to persevere. He is in college now and this year has just seemed to be extremely difficult for him and us. Between his Grandfather passing away, starting at a new college etc., I would love to see things ease up on him and fall into place. He is my hero!!
I love those cute decorated gingerbread men. I bet that takes a lot of patience. I wish for a happy and safe holiday for my family and everyone.
My wish is that my house that has been on the market for two and a half years will finally sell. My husband’s job moved over 100 miles away from our home, so my parents have allowed us to live with them until our condo sells, but I know they never thought it would take years. Nothing has sold in our area that wasn’t short sales which has pushed the price of the homes that are not behind on their mortgages well below value. Finally being on our own again would be the best Christmas present.
My wish is that this Christmas my family and I can be together on Christmas day. It is the first Christmas without my Mom and it would be good to be with all my siblings.
really don’t have any this year.
I wish for everyone to be healthy and safe for Christmas!
I wish that no one ever has to go through a natural disaster like I did. It was terrible. I wish there were no more hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, floods etc. the world can definitely do without them.
Happy Holidays everyone and Happy Release Day Cynthia!
Hugs!

A healthy and happy family.
My Christmas wish is for my 2 little boys to have a amazing Christmas 🙂
I hope everyone has a great and safe holiday and that we all get to spend time with our families
I wish for good health for my family members. We have been unlucky this past year. Thanks, Cynthia!
i wish for everyone to have a great holiday season
My wish is that the shots my husband is getting in his eye will work and help save his sight as he is already legally blind in the other eye. He just had #5 of 16 and they are NOT fun.
My wish is to have a content mind and heart…. I am working on it lol.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday!

My wish is that everyone has a happy and healthy holiday season. On my wish list is a new watch
Wishing for my family and friends to be healthy and happy. I hope everyone has a great Christmas. On my wishlist is a pair of cowgirl boots or a pair of Ugg boots. Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all get what you want from Santa this year.
I’m wishing all of our family makes it down to be together this year. Many things have gotten in the way over the years, but I have a good feeling about this year, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Oh, also, a new pair of shoes. Just sayin’.
There are of course, the “standard” wishes – World Peace, Good Health and Happiness. And then there are the “greedy” wishes – new shoes, more books, and financial stability. 🙂
My wish is to have all my family together. And my newest grandson to arrival healthy.
I hope for health and happiness for my family and friends this year.
I wish to have my parents happy and healthy for a few yrs. to come. Alot of people I know this year have lost their parents and it makes me realize how much I love mine and want them around for years to come. On the gift side of things I would like either an automatic car starter or an iPad.
I want books and nail polish! lol. on a more serious note, i hope that my friends and family and town, affected by Sandy, can regain the christmas spirit despite what is left.
There isn’t really much I wish for myself, just for my children to continue being happy and healthy. For my husband to stay safe at work and fulfill his dreams. For others, I wish for patience and understanding in their fellow man (and woman), love and laughter. And a very happy holiday season. 🙂
This is a little bit of a selfish wish, but I want all of my testing to be done so I can be put on the kidney transplant list. I know it’s a long wait after that, but at least I’ll be on the list. Apart from that, I wish for continued good health for my daughters and granddaughter.
I wish that my husband is home for Christmas. He went to stay with his mom in May 2011 because she was in stage 4 renal failure (she failed to tell us this). He stayed with her until her death in Feb 2012, we thought he would be home soon, but then all the problems with her trust and will has been giving my husband hell. Trying to do what she requested and deal with his step sibling and step niece and nephews has dragged this on and on.
I would also love books and a special tea cup to use when I read.
I hope everyone receives their special wishes this year! Happy Holidays! Thank you so much for these giveaways.
I’m wishing for a nice holiday bonus this Christmas ….that or winning this week’s Powerball. 😉
My wish for this holiday season is to thank all of the people who came from all over the country who gave their support and time to help us recover from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy in Rockaway, N Y. Your love, generosity and support was/ is overwhelming. Thank you and God Bless your families for letting you come to help us.
My wish is to be able to give our granddaughter’s the Christmas they want (Monster High). They are 6 and almost 8. We have custody of them and are on SSD, but we have to much income to qualify for help and neither parent pays child support.
I wish good health for my mom and popa. Mom has Parkinson’s
and popa is a cardiac patient. I also wish for better health for myself (Depression, Anxiety, PTSD) and good health for my husband, children, grandchildren (19), brothers and sisters.
My final wish would be to have ALL my children and grandchildren together for Christmas
