Halloween Fun Back to Blog
A few things to get you in the Halloween mood:
First up, spell book how-to…
And do you want to be the first one on your block with a self-stirring cauldron?
Thirsty? You should try a Pina Ghoulada.
Last, but not least…finger food. Gross, yes, but good.
Got any Halloween tips for me?

The finger food looked ghoulishly delicious — but way too much work. I have a recipe somewhere that has blue jello and cottage cheese ingredients. I think it’s supposed to be monster’s guts.
My husband wants to color our gray cat black, but I won’t let him. I told him gray is the new black.
Oh, Edie, I am a lazy woman–so I probably won’t be doing the finger food (even though I do love the look of them). I think I’m going to try “dirt” cake–complete with worms. I’ll have to post that recipe soon. Monster’s guts sound like fun–and your husband makes me grin. 🙂
The dirt cake sounds fun! I’ve heard you can make the fingers by shaping rice-krispie treats and adding a nail (an almond).
We stuff clothes to make a scare-crow take one of the plastic pumpkins and put lights in it and a hat and then for the hands we stuff latex-type medical gloves with toilet paper. It makes the hands look very life like. *G*
I love the “blood” for the Pina Ghouladas!
Hey Cindy, Happy Halloween! I love the holiday, but go to my daughter’s house and she does all the work. LOL. Hubby and I are the official candy-passing brigade, while the little ones hit the streets with mama and daddy. My daughter decorates, and it’s always great fun. I live on a windy road with no sidewalks. We don’t have little ghouls in my neck of the woods. Besides, seeing the grandkiddies is what it’s all about for us.
