DEADLY LIES–Release Day Back to Blog
Hi, everyone! Today, DEADLY LIES is out in the wild! DEADLY LIES is the third installment of my Deadly romantic suspense series, and this book focuses on SSD Agent Samantha Kennedy:
She wants to hide the past…
FBI Special Agent Samantha Kennedy is haunted by memories of the serial killer who abducted her. To keep the darkness at bay, she pretends to be a different, more confident woman. This Samantha doesn’t fear every unknown face. So she throws caution to the wind and shares a night of unbridled passion with a handsome stranger.
He needs to uncover the truth…
One night isn’t enough for successful entrepreneur Max Ridgeway. He wants more of the sexy, smart, mysterious woman who slipped away before dawn. When they meet again, their attraction is undeniable—until his stepbrother goes missing, and Max realizes that Samantha isn’t who she seems. But they must trust each other to trap a ring of blood-thirsty kidnappers before the nightmares that terrorize Sam become irrevocably real.
As a merciless criminal spins a web of . . .DEADLY LIES
You can read an excerpt from DEADLY LIES here.

Thank you, Michele! Hope you enjoy the story!
HAPPY RELEASE DAY!
Can’t wait for my copy to arrive.
Thank you, Viki! 🙂
I haven’t found it yet at the bookstore but I’ll keep checking!
Hi, Diane! If you don’t see it, you can always ask a manager if it’s in the back. They just might not have put it out yet. Some stores put it out 2-3 weeks early, and then there are other locations that put it out 1-2 weeks late.
Congrats on your release, Cyn. Can’t wait to hit the bookstore to pick it up.
Thanks, Liz!
I’ve been waiting and wanting this book…but 6 stores later and none have in stock. Actually, none were received. I don’t know what’s going on but I’m tired of looking. If the e-book is available now I would pick it up instantly but that’s not for another week. Stinks all around.
Gah, Tabitha! I am sorry to hear you’ve had such a frustrating day! None of the 6 stores received any stock? What state are you in? I can check with my editor to see if there was some sort of distribution delay.
Down here (like I was telling Ms. Diane)…some stores had the books out 2-3 weeks early. Others have been known to delay on putting it out.
You can usually find a helpful manager who will check for you to see if it’s in the back and just hasn’t been unloaded yet. (When it’s release day for a book I really want, the clerks in my area know it’s “heading to the back” time b/c I always arrive with a determined list of what I want. 🙂
Happy Release Day, Cynthia. I do hope you’ll be writing another romantic suspense series.
Thanks, Jane! I hope to write more–I loved doing these books. Romantic suspense is such a fun genre to explore!
I am in PA. The stores that I checked were 2 Borders (not closing ones), 1 B&N, 1 CVS, 1 Giants, and 1 Target (they’ve been known to carry your books). The CVS & Giants were desperate measures. Lol. I didn’t speak to any mgrs but with B&N and Borders, the sales person checked the inventory list and said they have not arrived in the stores at all.
Tabitha, woman, you were a trooper to search so hard! Thank you!! I am so sorry you had such a frustrating time. I know on Borders, they now have an online option so that you can check to see if the books are in the store (here’s a link, it’s on the side, under “Reserve at a Borders Near You”: http://www.borders.com/online/store/TitleDetail?sku=0446559253). Maybe that search option can help next time. I hope so!
I am tenacious when it comes to books that interest me. 🙂
Thank you. The closest borders that have the book in stock is at the very least 4hrs away…checked Super Walmart today, no luck. Went to another B&N and was told “the computer show the sale date as 3/1”. No amount of (gentle) arguing would change the woman’s mind nor would she confirm if the book was in the back of store or not. Sigh.
Sorry, Tabitha!! But, I think you are AWESOME to search! The 3/1 date on her computer is the “official” date, but the store laydown date (the date that the stores were supposed to have them out is 2/22. Most of the stores have changed their websites to reflect that (BAM, Borders, and Amazon have), but B&N still lists 3/1. Sorry! I know this has been frustrating for you! I’m the same way–I haunt stores b/c I am ready to read those books NOW.
just finished and loved deadly lies. each deadly was excellent and i just would like to know if there will be more deadly books in the future?
Thank you, Marianne! I haven’t contracted any additional Deadly books yet, but I would certainly love to write more stories. I’ve got an idea for Ramirez that I hope to explore!
