Coming up…(And your chance to win an ARC) Back to Blog

Update: The ARC winner is..Aretha Z! Congrats!

I’ve had several questions recently about books that I have planned or am writing. So, I thought I’d just take a few moments during our party and share some details.

First up, my Fallen series…there are two more books in the Fallen series slated to be released. ANGEL IN CHAINS will be out on November 27, and AVENGING ANGEL will be out in July of 2013. (The hero and heroine of AVENGING ANGEL will be introduced in ANGEL IN CHAINS.  I will say…AVENGING ANGEL is the only book I wrote to feature a full-blooded angel as the heroine.)

More paranormal news…I am writing a three-book phoenix shifter series for Kensington Brava. Every time my phoenix shifter dies, he rises from the flames. Only he comes back…darker each time. Darker and far more dangerous. I’ve already turned in two of these books, and I’m writing the third one (with a due date to my publisher of mid-October).

Now, a question that seems to come up a whole lot…when are you writing more romantic suspense? My answer: I’m writing RS right now, promise! I am writing a 4 book military romantic suspense series for Harlequin Intrigue–this is my Shadow Agents series. The first two books in the series will be out in early 2013:  ALPHA ONE (January of 2013) and GUARDIAN RANGER (February of 2013).  The other two books (SHARPSHOOTER is the one I’m finishing up now) may be out in the  later part of 2013. I need to double-check the exact dates for books 3 and 4 with my editor.  I am having so much fun with these books–lots of action, lots of danger, and lots of romance. My favorite things.  These are actually my first books to feature leading military characters, and I’m learning so much as I write!

AND…yes, I am also working on a single-title romantic suspense series, too.  I can’t reveal specifics about that series at this time (I’m sorry!) but I do hope to share soon.  I am looking at an early 2013 release date for this series. I can say that the first book in the series is tentatively titled DIE FOR ME.  This series is very dark and sexy–so if you enjoyed the Deadly books, then I think you will enjoy this one, too.  DIE FOR ME is complete, and I’ll be working on the second book in the series very soon.

Now for…bonus books.

If I’m not writing some kind of story, I feel lost.  That may sound weird, but it’s true.  I almost get twitchy. 😉 So, yes, I’ve been working on some other things, too.  I recently finished the rough draft of THE WOLF WITHIN (yes, it’s a werewolf book, but I bet you figured that part) that I would like to indie publish very soon. I will get started on edits in the coming days and, once I start on those, I’ll have a better idea of an exact release date for you.  THE WOLF WITHIN is a 60,000 word story.  It’s sexy and dark and dangerous.

Also coming up soon…I plan to release my first young adult book. Here’s a weird me fact. The very first book I ever wrote? It was a book for Harlequin’s now gone YOURS TRULY line. (Ahem, the book I wrote was terrible!  I still have it, and when I read it, I hang my head in shame.) The second book I wrote?  It was a YA. I’ve always loved YA, and I’ve wanted to release a YA book for quite some time. Well, that time is almost upon me. THE BETTER TO BITE (another 60,000 story) is in edits now, and it will be released within the next few months. Again–sorry, a specific date will come after I get a better idea of how long edits will take.  When I describe THE BETTER TO BITE to folks, I describe it as Veronica Mars meets Little Red Riding Hood…with werewolves.  So, ahem, yes, you can see that I stick with the wolves that I love.

There are some others stories that I hope to explore, but these are the ones that are going to keep me busy from now until November.

So let’s get to the prize part of this post, shall we?  You just read about all of the books that I’ve got coming up…I want to giveaway a copy of one of these upcoming books. How about an autographed copy of ANGEL IN CHAINS?  If I get in ARCs of this book, then I will send you the early copy long before the actual book hits the shelves.  To enter the giveaway, just tell me the title of the last book that you read. Easy, right?  I’ll run the contest until noon (Central time) tomorrow, then randomly pick a winner.

And if you have any questions about my upcoming books–or any of my books–just ask.  Thanks!!
