A review of HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT has been posted at The Long and Short of It. Here are a few snippets from the review:
“It’s dark and edgy and hot and suspenseful. We have serial killers and demons and vampires and shapeshifters and more. And you’re not going to be able to put it down. The story is interesting, exciting, and romantic.”
“If you’re looking for a crime drama/serial killer/paranormal that is HOT, then you need to pick up ‘Hotter After Midnight’. You won’t regret it. I’ll lay odds it’ll land firmly on your keeper shelf.”
Wanna read the rest? Then head over to The Long and Short of It.
Thank you, Poppy!

April 29th, the release date for my Kensington Brava, Hotter After Midnight, is sneaking up on me. Okay, it’s not really sneaking since I’m really, really looking forward to this release, but it sure does seem as if time has started to fly by on me.
Yesterday, I received my bookmarks. And, yep, I just had to take a picture.

I can’t help it–this whole process is thrilling me! I love getting packages in the mail, love receiving promotional materials and getting feedback on my stories. I’m still a bit stunned by the whole thing, I think. The fact that I’ve finally sold to NY and I get to publish sexy paranormals–seriously, that’s a dream for me.
I’ll be sending out my bookmarks to folks very soon (I’m dividing them up in between doing copy-edits on Spellbound). If you’d like a few, send me an email at cynthia@cynthiaeden.com, and I’ll be happy to drop some in the mail for you.

The writing conference season is upon us. In my part of the world, I’m gearing up for the Silken Sands Writing Conference. At this conference (and the others that are lined up across the country), writers have the opportunity to pitch their stories to editors and agents. I’ve recently posted an article I wrote on pitching (it’s in the writer’s section of my website). I thought this article might help a bit, as writers prepare for the big pitching moments.
