THE THIEF WHO LOVED ME – Teaser

Posted in Latest News, Romance on October 6th, 2022 by Cynthia Eden

Halloween is coming…remember to treat yourself this month! ๐Ÿ˜‰ And an awesome way to be treated?? With a new book!

How about another quick teaser from my upcoming romantic suspense, THE THIEF WHO LOVED ME (out on 10/25)?

โ€œI want answers. Didnโ€™t think they mattered, but these jerks arenโ€™t giving up. We need a plan of attack. We needโ€”โ€

She knew exactly what they needed. With her shoulders hunching even more, Jacqueline lifted her hands toward him. She turned them over, so that her wrists were up. โ€œYou need to arrest me.โ€

One of his eyebrows slowly rose. โ€œWhy would I do that?โ€

โ€œBecauseโ€ฆโ€ She choked down the lump in her throat. โ€œIโ€™m a thief.โ€ There. Said. Done.

His hands rose and curled around hers. Noโ€”around her wrists. That same crazy spark surged through her at his touch, and she wondered how she could still feel that burn when he was about to call his real FBI buddies and lock her away.

His fingers lightly caressed her skin.

โ€œR-Remy?โ€

โ€œWhat a coincidence,โ€ he murmured and flashed her a killer smile. โ€œSo am I.โ€

Remy’s Book

Posted in Latest News, Romance on September 30th, 2022 by Cynthia Eden

It’s almost time for Remy’s story! ๐Ÿ˜ Less than a month to go until the 10/25 release!

Remy (Rembrandt) first appeared in THE BODYGUARD NEXT DOOR. He’s the brother of Iris (yep, the heroine from THE BODYGUARD NEXT DOOR), and the guy had certainly been up to some shady business. Remy just *had* to pop up again in EX MARKS THE PERFECT SPOT, and since he was so determined to keep appearing, he got his own book…

After a lifetime of sin, Rembrandt โ€œRemyโ€ Stuart is finally on the road to redemption, but a former bad guy must always watch out for temptation. His temptation? It comes in the unexpected but ever-so-seductive package that is Jacqueline Peters. One look, and heโ€™s hooked.

Heโ€™s never been one to rush to the rescueโ€”not really his thingโ€”but when a shoeless Jacqueline enters the crowded bar, Remy can practically feel her fear. The beautiful woman is running from somethingโ€”more like someoneโ€”so Remy decides to be her knight in severely tarnished armor. For a price, of course. Because nothing is ever free. Certainly not him.

Heโ€™ll give her a job and a safe place to stay, but, in return, she has to pose for him. Sheโ€™ll be his model as Remy finally tries to create work of his own and not, ahem, just incredible forgeries that can be used by all sorts of dangerous criminalsโ€”the people that Remy knows too well. And if Remy and Jacqueline happen to give in to the burning hot attraction between them, attraction that grows even hotter with every moment that passes, then who is he to argue with fate?

Jacqueline is sweet and good, careful and controlled, and she may just be everything he ever wanted. And she mistakenly thinks heโ€™s some kind of hero. Adorable butโ€ฆso not the case. When danger from her past follows her to Remyโ€™s, heโ€™ll have to show her who he really is. Because there is no way that heโ€™s going to let anyone hurt his muse. Being good can only get a man so far.

Authorโ€™s Note: THE THIEF WHO LOVED ME is a stand-alone romance with a guaranteed happy ending. Sometimes being good can be so very hard, and Remy was never really cut out for the โ€œgoodโ€ life. Remy is about to have his world turned upside down, but donโ€™t worry, some of his โ€œWildeโ€ friends will be there to help him out.

ICE COLD SAINT – Teaser

Posted in Romance, Latest News on September 16th, 2022 by Cynthia Eden

Alice paused. Glanced over her shoulder at him. โ€œTrust me when I say that you canโ€™t handle me.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™d be surprised at what I can handle.โ€

She motioned toward the crowd behind him. โ€œGo try that smile out there. Iโ€™m sure your luck will be outstanding. Lots of women go for that dark-and-dangerous vibe.โ€

โ€œBut not you.โ€ Another taste of his drink. His eyes remained on her.

She turned to fully face him. โ€œIโ€™m not interested in wannabe danger.โ€

Oh, this was intriguing. No, she was. โ€œYou only go for the real deal?โ€

Once more, she leaned over the bar. Her scent teased him. But she didnโ€™t speak. Instead, she searched his gaze. He wondered just what it was that Alice was looking for as she stared at him so hard with those topaz eyes of hers.

โ€œYou want real danger?โ€ he rasped as the tension seemed to stretch between them. โ€œHow do you know I canโ€™t give you that?โ€
