Reward Reads Back to Blog

There are some books that I’ve dying to get my greedy hands on. As soon as I finish the review/rewrite on this current manuscript, I’m going to take about a week and (hopefully!) do nothing but read.  And these books are definitely on my must read list:

First up…FATED by Lauren Dane.  I love a good werewolf romance, and, knowing Lauren, this will be a great one!

Here’s a great excerpt from FATED for your reading pleasure.

The next read I want?  DARK LIGHT by Jayne Castle.    The second romance book that I read (when I first learned of the awesome genre that is romance, way, way back in the day…) was by Jayne Ann Krentz  (AKA Jayne Castle AKA Amanda Quick AKA Amanda Glass).   Since then, I’ve read every book she’s written, and when DARK LIGHT releases on the 26th of August, I’ll be there to snatch it up.

Ann Aguirre also has another book scheduled for release soon.  WANDERLUST promises to be another fast, gripping read.  So, of course, it’s on my list! And, hey, Ann’s running a new contest on her site, too.

And the fourth book I’m waiting for…DARK CURSE by Christine Feehan. What can I say? I love those Carpathians!  You can read the prologue for this book on her site.

I know there are plenty of other books that I’ll be adding to my reading list. When I go to the bookstore, I’ll probably go wild. (That always happens when I’m around books.)  So, do look for this list to expand.

And what’s on your must read list?

  1. Awesome list. I see a couple of my most wanted there. Can’t wait to find some time to read now that the kidlets have returned to school.

Dark Light by Jayne Ann Krentz. Right now I’m in the midst of writing and I don’t read as much fiction while writing. However, I’m reading Elizabeth Hoyt’s To Taste Temptation, and I’m loving it. But after this I’ll switch to read a non-fiction book.

Liz Kreger has gotten me all excited about the series about Cat and Bones by Jeannine Frost.

I have a pile of unread books in my house right now. So I can’t go get more at this time. It seems a little insane. I gotta get through the 10 or 15 books I have that I haven’t read. (I went to the used bookstore a few weeks ago and really stocked up.)

Um, I was very, VERY bad and saw Dark Light on the shelf at BAMM the other day. It, um, came home with me. *G*
And I am eagerly awaiting Wanderlust!

So many books, so little time….

Enjoy your treat, Cynthia! It’ll be well deserved by then.

Hi, Liane! Oh, I wish there were more time to read. I’d be such a happy woman then!

Edie, I’ll add To Taste Temptation to my list. That’s historical, right? I’ve been looking for a good historical read.

    Zoe, I love Frost’s books!

Oh, Brandy, do you KNOW how jealous I am now? Come on, tell me more!!! Have you read it already? Did you like it?

Hey, Linda! I can’t wait to read those books. Last night, I nearly broke down and read–but I manned up and did more editing work. 🙂

  7. Brandy says:

Yeahhhhh, I read it. But, I’m NOT spoiling it for you. *G* I DID like it. *g*

Hey Cindy, I’m finishing Karin Tabke’s, Master of Surrender, then will be reading the new Twilight book. But, I have to read book three of that series first. My daughter said the final book was awesome! Looks like I’m in for some nightly reading. As long as it’s not in the same genre I’m writing, I’m good to go. LOL.
