Quick drive-by post…lightning hit the house yesterday and, of course, knocked out the modem and router so I’ve been without computer access. But, new machinery is up and running so normal programming should resume tomorrow. 🙂

OH MY GODDESS! I would have died!!! Did you have a surge protector? If so, perhaps a new one? Look for one that has a good UL 1449 rating,good Clamping Voltage, a good Response Time, has Energy Dissipation and Three way protection. Yeah, it’s a lot to remember, but just take the little list to your local “wherever you buy computer stuff” and they will know what to show you. I am having the shudders thinking of you LOSING your computer!!!!! Heck, I’ll send you a good surge protector myself…we must protect the writer at all costs!
