Ready for some FATAL CONSEQUENCES? Back to Blog
Update: The winner of the PDF copies of FATAL AFFAIR, FATAL JUSTICE, and FATAL CONSEQUENCES is…Leagh Christensen! Congrats, Leagh!
I hope that you’re enjoying the blog party so far! We’re spotlighting lots of books–and there are LOTS more giveaways to come. One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to sit down and enjoy a good book. (It’s too hot down in the South to do much else!) Whether I’m reading on the beach, on a hammock, or on the couch, a good book can certainly take me away. Books have always been the perfect escape for me. Come on…don’t we all need an escape sometimes?
Lately, I’ve really enjoying escaping into my friend Marie Force‘s books. Marie writes some fabulous tales–I love the suspense elements in her books. Marie’s next release, FATAL CONSEQUENCES, will be available July 18th.
Blurb:
The murder of two members of the Capitol Cleaning Service might’ve been just another homicide investigation—that is If one of them hadn’t been romantically involved with a married senator from Arizona. Lt. Sam Holland and her team are plunged into another complex case that at first seems open and shut. But as Sam tugs on the threads of the investigation she uncovers a deep, dark Washington secret that threatens the careers of some of the government’s highest-ranking officials. Racing to catch a killer before he can strike again, Sam and her fiancé, U.S. Senator Nick Cappuano, attempt to plan a wedding while her colleague Detective Tommy “Gonzo” Gonzales faces life-changing news.

Marie’s books consistently blast their way to the top of the Kindle bestseller lists–cause she’s awesome like that. 🙂 Today, Marie is offering PDF copies of all three of her FATAL books to one winner (that’s FATAL AFFAIR, FATAL JUSTICE, and FATAL CONSEQUENCES). If you’re looking for good romantic suspenses to take you away this summer, you want these. So…to win, tell me why you enjoy suspense in your summer stories. The winner will be randomly selected tomorrow at noon. Good luck!
I admit that I read romantic suspense mostly for the romance, but I also really enjoy the mystery aspect of the story. I like a good story that has twists and turns to keep me guessing and finally have a shocking revelation.
I love suspense especially in the summer because if the story line is good enough it can take me away and help me forget the heat here in Arizona. LOL 😀
o these books sound awesome! i love a good suspense. thank you for sharing!
Nothing ever really happens during the summer (nothing exciting, I mean) so the suspense in the novels gets me through these hot months.
One of the reasons I love suspense is that I get to live vicariously through the character since well to be honest I don’t think I have it in me to do what alot of these crime solving women do!
I like reading romantic suspense because Im always wanting to know what happens next in a book! I love romance in my books too. These sound like great books thanks for the chance!
With a great suspense story, I love being so caught up in the story, that I can’t put it down.
Hot summers and great reads… what could be better
I love suspense because the book keeps you on your toys till the end. It makes you want to keep turning the pages so you can find out what happens.
Honestly, I don’t really change my reading habits in the summer but I do enjoy a great romantic suspense. I am a sucker for a good romance and the thrill of being on the edge of your seat through a good suspense is the icing on the cake!
it’s the thrill of the chase 😀 on top of the romance

I actually read in every genre but romantic suspense is one of the genres I pick up most often. I love the storylines and I love being on the edge of my seat being enthralled with amazing hot action scenes and twits and turns I never see coming. Throw in a few steamy sex scenes and it’s a book I don’t want to put down
I like to keep on the edge of my seat and my blood pumping to keep my summer going fast! These look like great reads!
Suspense is what keeps me up at night when good sense says “Go to bed, you have to get up early in the morning.” Then I lie awake wondering until I just have to finish. My husband has given up already trying to get me to put a suspenseful book down. So not happening!
I love suspense-the intrigue-trying to find out who did and especially getting into the villians mind–Love it.
Pure unadulterated escapism.
I enjoy trying to figure out the twists in the stories and the relationships.
is the FATAL books all ebooks?
I love suspense stories because they always keep you glued to the book and page. I personally will not want to put the book down because I am on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s always nice at the end finding out if what I thought was going to happen happens.
I’ve read two of Marie’s contemp. romances and have loved them.
I love suspense because you never know what is going to happen. I speed through the pages to find out what is going to happen next!

great days whooooooooo
I love a good story with some romance and action/suspence! It keeps my attention and I cant put it down!
I love to try to figure out the mystery before the ending of the book. I have to have a variety of books to read, reading too much in one genre will burn me out for a while.
I love suspense in my summer stories because they always keep me guessing and keep things interesting!
I just started reading romantic suspense. I’m actually trying to decide which books to take to the beach with me. Do I finish the deadly series or work on the shifter series?
I love suspense! It’s like having two stories in one… the suspense and the romance!
