My Book Closet Back to Blog
Okay…here it is…a glimpse into my world, or rather, into my book closet. As you can see in the picture, I don’t have any of those “fancy” shelves. Just books. Lots and lots of books. (And, yes, since I don’t have shelves, I have to be careful pulling out said books b/c they do have a tendency to fall–and it hurts when fifty books land on my head!). I know I’ve had some of these books for over fifteen years (and that’s a bit scary). But, well, what can I say? I’m an obsessive reader. I fully believe that in order to be a good writer, one has to be an avid reader.
But I do think I might need to get another closet soon. Hmm…I wonder if Nick is still using his hobby closet…

Great closet! I too have tons of books, but I commandeered one room for my office. There is room for a small desk and lots of full bookshelves.
Oh my, be careful 😎 I can see Nick’s closet is going to be commandeered! Coincidentally I’ve just had a big clear out. It took ages, debating with myself over each and every book like a mad woman. LOL
Stacie, maybe you can convince Nick your books would make great wallpaper. Line one wall with books, and when that’s filled, start another. LOL
Thanks for the comments, ladies! I do think my closet is starting to get out of control, and (sigh!) I guess I should sort through those books–but the idea gives me shudders right now. (Saskia, I envy you!)
