My mother did it to me every year. I have some horrible pics of Santa, apparently I didn’t like any of them, lol. My oldest – loved taking pictures, so Santa was just a prop for her, the little one? I have two screaming pics and I refuse to torment her again, so sadly no Santa pic this year!
Hilarious! My mom did it to me too and it didn’t stop with Santa – the Easter Bunny, the characters at Disney World… I don’t know, maybe she was trying to toughen me up.

Aw, Rhonda, I am sorry you had to deal with Santa fear as a kid! He’s a big guy, brightly colored, with a long, straggly beard–yeah, that’s scary!
Ashley, my mom once made me sit in the lap of the Incredible Hulk. If that didn’t scare me, I don’t know–I guess nothing will!
