Writing a Query Letter and a Synopsis Back to Blog
Tomorrow, I’ll be giving a presentation on writing a query letter and a synopsis at my local RWA meeting. If you’re in the Mobile area and want to stop by, just click here for the meeting information.
And if you’re not in the area and you’re curious about the presentation, no worries! I’ll post my handouts in my “For Writers” section here on the website. I’ll put a note up on the blog when the handouts are posted.
In other news, I am completely addicted to Supernatural now. How, how did I miss this show for so long? I got Seasons 1 and 2 for Christmas. I’ve been averaging about three shows a night. Addicted. Yep, that’s me.
Anyone else wanna share and tell me about your favorite present this year?

Hi Cynthia;
Happy New Year. Thank you for the heads-up about posting your notes on you site, that is so kind of you.
My favorite Christmas gift? Book store gift cards! lol
All the best for 2009.
I wish I was in Mobile to see your presentation (and to be warm). Have fun!
Our favorite gift is a coo coo clock from our son. We didn’t want gift cards this year, so I told him to buy both of us a clock, that whatever he picked out would be good. I thought he’d get us something funky, and was surprised that he bought the coo coo clock. It’s carved wood and has the sweetest sounding coo coo and music. It’s not something either of us would have picked, but we love it.
Good luck with the presentation. Synopsis or query letters doesn’t really bother me. I seem to muddle my way through both.
I liked the watch that hubby got me and the gift cards from others. Now I can do my part to help the economy. LOL.
Best wishes for a fabulous presentation.
My family gave me a bookstore gift card, that I appreciated, but the gift I loved the most was a Yoga Mat bag for my mat. *G*
My favorite present this year is a tie between the Tin Man DVD I got from my parents and Neal Stephenson’s Anathem I got from my brother.
I got a great new, super weapons grade (as my husband calls it) food processor. I really wanted one, and I LOVE it. (I bake and cook a lot 🙂 .)
Good luck with your presentation!
I have to say my favorite present was from my 7 yr old daughter, a beaded bracelet that spelled out I love Mom. Doesn’t get any better than that 🙂
