Quick check-in… Back to Blog

Tomorrow, I’ll have a new author interview up for you. This time,  you’ll get to learn more about the very talented Anya Bast and have a chance to win her latest release, WITCH HEART.  So don’t miss that post!

And, on a completely unrelated topic, am I the only one looking forward to seeing MY BLOODY VALENTINE, 3D?  I mean, come on…3D!!! And the lead actor in the  show?  Jensen Ackles. Doesn’t get any better than that!  Though I am concerned this will be one of those movies that gives me nightmares. What? Why am I concerned?  Because of this fun little warning I found on The Movie Insider:

” graphic brutal horror violence and grisly images throughout, some strong sexuality, graphic nudity and language.”

Strong sexuality doesn’t bother me. Neither does the graphic nudity or the language. But the “brutal horror violence”–hmmm.  So is the brutal horror violence more than your average flick since it is 3D? Or am I just about to enter a serious gore fest?  I do prefer non gore scares but I really want to see this…

And what’s on your movie viewing agenda?

Hi Cynthia! I don’t know if you remember me but we talked briefly when I joined the PNR Writers group a while back.

    I love a good hack-n-slash, myself. 🙂 I can’t wait for MBV 3D!

P.S. I just tore thru my copy of Midnight Sins and loved it. Did I mention that Todd is The Hot? He is.

My husband wants to see the Clint Eastwood movie. Me, not so much. But I’ll go with him so he’ll go with me to the next one I want to see.

I don’t really pay much attention to the movies that are coming out unless I have time to go to the movies, which hasn’t happened much. However, I did take my nieces to the movies twice since Christmas as part of their christmas presents. While there I saw a number of trailers and I can admit that I really want to see Inkheart. My favorite line from the trailer was “I like my stories to stay on the page.”
