Rachelle Chase is running an interesting contest–writers are being asked to send in the first 1,000 words (or less) of their unpublished novels/novellas. The first place winner will recieve a manuscript critique or a proposal/submission critique by Leigh Michaels (multi-published author), PLUS lots of other fabulous prizes! 🙂

Cynthia, I have to thank you for this. I saw the contest on your blog and subbed the first 1000 words of my fantasy romance (which is nearly finished, yay!) and I’m this week’s finalist in the competition. So thanks for the heads up, whether I win or not, Rachelle Chase’s very kind words about my submission and the fact that I’m a finalist has lifted me out of the ‘is this damn story any good?’ slump.
