Okay…I haven’t been a good blogger lately–I apologize. I’ve just finished up the rough draft of my novella (tentatively titled Blood Hunt cuz, yes, it’s about vampires and the hero is a bounty hunter and, well, you get the idea). So, my immediate plans are now as follows:

1. Blog! I plan to write about four craft-related posts that I’ve been thinking about for weeks but just haven’t been able to write (due to time constraints).

2. Make some changes to my website. I’m ready for a new author page. I’m ready for a FAQ’s page. I’m ready for a “News” feature on my homepage. And who knows? Maybe I’ll add some other features, too. If anyone has any suggestions for my updates, let me know! Particularly in regard to the author page and the FAQ’s page–if you have questions, you can post them here or email them to me at info@cynthiaeden.com.

3. Read the upcoming Jayne Ann Krentz release, White Lies, cuz I really, really love her work.

4. After I’ve had a chance to clear my head a bit, I’ll go back and look at Blood Hunt with fresh eyes as I begin my read-through.

5. Hmm…guess that would make it time to start writing a new book! A novel this time…

So I was channel surfing last night, and I happened to stumble across the Lifetime Channel. Lo and behold…I saw a preview for the upcoming Nora Roberts movies.

Now, normally, I’m not a huge fan of the books-made-into-movies. I always get angry if the screenwriters alter the plots and I hate it when characters don’t look as they are described in the books.

BUT…this is Nora Roberts that we’re talking about, so I think I’m just gonna have to tune in and check out the movies.

First up, Angel’s Fall on January 29.

Yay! As a New Year’s present, I learned the release date for Caged Wolf, the last story in my “Wolf’s Call” trilogy for Red Sage. Caged Wolf will be released in December of 2007, and it will appear in Secrets, Volume 21.

I’m planning to update my site this evening–I’ll put up an excerpt from Caged Wolf and add a few more details. So, please, check back!

Okay, I’m doing a fast drive-by post because I found out that this completely awesome book that I got for Christmas is now on sale at Barnes and Noble (after holiday sale, of course!). The book is called The Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures and if you’re a paranormal writer, you should definitely check it out! I’ve already gotten several ideas from the book. Right now, I’m thinking about a hero who happens to be a hell hound…
