Recovering today… Back to Blog
Today, I’m recovering from my son’s 3rd birthday party.
(Greg and I were racing.)
Yeah, the adults had as much fun as the kids. Giant slides. Obstacle courses. Races.
My son’s favorite thing to do? Going down the monster slide–all my himself.
The hubby’s favorite? The obstacle course. I think he challenged every person there to a race. He won all of his races…until the very last challenge. He’d just gone head-to-head with me. (Barely beat me, btw. If I hadn’t gotten a laughing fit right there at the last climb…) But, at the very end, I do believe Nick lost his race. I’m sure a re-match will be scheduled soon.
Now, ten days before Christmas. Five days to finish my polishing my story. Got to get busy!!
And how was your weekend?

Cindy, loved those pics. What fun? Hey, that’d be a great writer retreat fun-thing-to-do one night! Talk about shakin’ up some story ideas. 😎
Had a great weekend, too. Wrapping presents, writing, enjoying some R&R.
Glad your Son had a wonderful Birthday!
Friday we bought our tree. Saturday we decorated it and Sunday I figured out how to change a brake light! (And my Son was sick all through the weekend, so we stayed home Saturday and Sunday.)
Good luck with your story!
What a great way to celebrate your son’s birthday!
My weekend was good; my mother got here (she’s staying a couple of months) and my son and daughter are dropping by this week. It’s all good.
Good luck with the story!
Pump It Up was so much fun! Great pictures. I’ll send you the video of the final obstacle course show-down.
Love the pics! Sounds and looks like you had a blast 🙂
I’m sure my weekend wasn’t as fun as yours. That slide looks like a lot of fun. I basically spent my weekend getting a little rest and getting some more of my Christmas shopping done.
